You're right, these pictures look nothing like your profile pic. I don't think you're even half as unphotogenic as you think you are...
I've been thinking of girl names for you all day since your husband put the kibosh on the whole Jane Austen thing. How about Elizabeth Jane? Or is that too obvious?
Oh, forgot to say that I am (as you can see) unphotogenic as well. But just add a sweet little baby face beside your own, and voila, instant cuteness. You can try this trick yourself pretty soon.
Elizabeth Jane. :) Unfortunately, he'll see right thru that. I thought I was being so clever for suggesting Emma Jane -- thinking to myself, "He knows all about Pride and Prejudice, but certainly not Emma..." -- but I guess I underestimated just how much I torture him with talk about my favorite novelist.
You are SO cute! Please don't say that you don't photograph well, because you look good!!! My sons due date was July 4, 1994 and he decided to join us on June 29th instead. I hope she comes out healthy and happy. Best of luck!
Thanks, Big Mama!
And Kidney Bean might just turn out to be a boy, which will allow the hubby and me to bypass all this disagreeable girl-name business. :)
I love the pictures! I wish I had had a blog when I was pregnant with Thomas, so cool!
